ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE ------------------------ Meeting #1 Association Island July 15, 1928 Members Present Members Absent Others Present W.R.G.Baker M.L.Sloan Gerard Swope A.D.Cameron J.E.Kewley R.E.Doherty C.H.Lang A.W.Lunn E.E.Potter T.K.Quinn E.D.Spicer G.M.Stevens C.E.Wilson Mr. Swope offered his assistance to the committee in their work and expressed his hope that the activities of the committee and of the Society would encourage the spirit of cooperation and goodfellow- ship to their own benefit and in the interests of the company. Mr. Swope announced his intention of selecting each year from this committee the Chairman of Arrangements for Camp General. For 1929 he selected C.H.Lang. It was explained that the selection of this Camp General Committee need not be confined to members of the Administrative Committee. The Committee selected the following officers to serve the Society during the current term. President - C.H.Lang Vice President - C.E.Wilson Secretary - A.D.Cameron Treasurer - E.E.Potter The proposed form of constitution was read, discussed and approved. There was general question, however, regarding the suitability of the name, "ELFIN", proposed for the Society. It was agreed to withhold formal adoption of the constitution until the proposed name had been ratified or a more appropriate one selected. The next meeting was called for July 17th at Association Island. Meeting adjourned.
