August 30, 1928 This is notification of your membership in THE ELFUN SOCIETY which was formed at Association Island on July 15, 1928. There is attached a copy of the Constitution which has been adopted. The Administrative Committee was elected by the members present at the July 15th meeting. The officers for the Society were selected by the Administrative Committee from its own members. Further announcements regarding the activities of the Society will be forthcoming in the future. In the meantime and at all times the Administrative Committee will be glad to receive suggestions from the members as to ways and means by which the purposes and aspirations of the Society may be best attained.
